| DESCRIPTION (english): | Mike Whittaker is renowned in the UK for the solidity and good handling qualities of his designs. The MW5 was the first of his microlight designs to achieve widespread success, dating back to the middle of the ’80s. It is a tube-and-fabric design only available in plans. Our photo shows the later MW7, an aerobatic model which uses similar technology but has a smaller wing. The latest MW5D now has a folding wing with the same wing area as the MW5A. Another variant, the MW5K, was converted into a floatplane by fitting a central Full Lotus mono-float and wing-mounted sponsons. |

Nous présentons ici la photo du MW7, une version mieux carénée et "full aerobatic" du MW 5 qui peut être immatriculée en construction amateur. La version MW5 K hydro présente un flotteur central et ses flotteurs stabilisateurs sous les demi-ailes. |

Die neueste MW5D-Variante bekam Faltflügel und die MW5K baute man mit Hilfe eines "Full Lotus"-Mono-Schwimmkörpers zum Wasserflieger um. |
