| DESCRIPTION (english): | The aircraft of US Pacific take their names from Don Mitchell, designer of the aircraft and co-founder of the enterprise in 1987, along with Richard Avalon. The pair had worked together from 1977 to 1983 at Mitchell Aircraft Corporation and in 1991 Richard inherited the designs and manufacturing rights. A very efficient flying-wing design with a laminar profile, the U-2 also features a retractable landing gear. It is currently available in plan form and it can be powered by a variety of engines in the 25-40hp range. |

Der Konstrukteur Don Mitchell rechnet 450 Arbeitsstunden für eine U2. Zahlreiche Motoren mit 25-40 PS können eingebaut werden. |
