DESCRIPTION (english):	Venezuelan Raul Di Lorenzo, formerly known for his paragliders, has switched camps! His Saqqara Foot Launch is a lightweight foot-launched sailplane, weighing only 56kg and designed to be easy to control at low speeds. This carbon and epoxy aircraft will form the basis of two other models, one a microlight with a longer fuselage and no trap doors for foot-launch but still weighing only 58kg, and the other identical to the microlight except for a wing with only 6.78m2 area and 11m span; it will be named the Saqqara Ultralight. The foot-launched version shown here offers a glide ratio of 30, placing it squarely in FAI class 2 territory, traditionally the preserve of the Swift.
DESCRIPTION (french):	Raul Di Lorenzo, ex-constructeur de parapentes au Venezuela, a décidé de changer de catégorie ! Le Saqqara Foot Launch est un planeur à fuselage court prévu pour le décollage à pied grâce à sa surface et son faible poids de 56 kg qui permettent le vol lent. La marque a d'autres projets sur la base de cet appareil construit en carbone et résines époxy. Il y aura une seconde version ultra-légère à 58 kg mais sans la trappe pour courir, avec fuselage long, le Microlight. La 3e sera identique à la précédente mais avec des ailes de seulement 6.78 m² pour 11 m d'envergure et sera nommée Saqqara Ultralight. A 30 de finesse annoncée pour la version Foot Launch, cette machine vient clairement jouer en deltas de classe 2 FAI sur le terrain du Swift.

Sein Saqqara Foot Launch ist ein Fußstart-Leichtsegelflugzeug, wiegt 56 Kilo und soll bei geringen Geschwindigkeiten einfach zu fliegen sein. Das Carbon- und Verbund-Flugzeug liefert die Basis für zwei weitere Modelle, einmal ein nicht fußstartfähiges UL mit längerem Rumpf und nur zwei Kilo mehr Gewicht als der Saqqara und zweitens ein Modell mit nur 6.78 qm Fläche und 11 m Spannweite namens Saqqara Ultralight. Die hier gezeigte Version verspricht einen 30er Gleitwinkel und bewegt sich somit in der Swift-Klasse.
