| DESCRIPTION (english): | Rud Aero from Sebastian FL debuted its RA-2 aerobatic airplane at AirVenture 2012. The company is named for its owner Mr. Taras Rud of Ukraine. This all-carbon made, low-wing aircraft designed for +/- 13G load is promising unconventional capabilities for this category. The aerobatic wings of this two-seat airplane can be changed in few hours for cross-country wings. The company plans to offer RA-2 as an experimental aircraft, but not in kit form. RA-2 Advanced Aerobatic and RA-2T Aerobatic Trainer versions will be offered. A derivative of the RA-2, the RA-3, side-by-side trainer, is an entry level aerobatic trainer with improved cross country performance. Engine options: Lycoming AEIO-580 |

Ces dernières peuvent être échangées pour un jeu d'ailes à vocation de croisière en quelques heures. Le RA-2 est proposé en tant qu'avion expérimental prêt à voler. Les versions Advanced Aerobatic, Aerobatic Trainer ou encore A-3 (pour la formation à la voltige basique) sont disponibles. L'option moteur étant le Lycoming AEIO-580. Le fabricant assiste les constructeurs amateurs pendant l'assemblage. |

Der RA-2 sieht nicht nur gut aus, er hat auch ungewohnte Eigenschaften. Für längere Reisen sind die serienmäßigen Acro-Flügel gegen reisetaugliche Flügel austauschbar.
